100 Hungry Souls Fed: Our Street Feeding Mission

The streets of Bali tell stories most tourists never see.

Behind the vibrant temples and pristine beaches, over 100 abandoned dogs survive day to day, searching for scraps in alleyways and waiting in the shadows of markets. These aren't aggressive strays—they're gentle souls who've been forgotten, left to navigate a world that has no place for them.

Last month, our team brought 100 meals to these dogs. We walked the backstreets at dawn, found the quiet corners where packs gather, and watched as hungry eyes transformed into wagging tails. Some dogs approached cautiously, others hung back, still learning that not all humans bring harm.

But feeding them once isn't enough.

A Permanent Solution

We're building something that lasts. Right now, construction is underway on Bali's newest permanent feeding station—a place where these 100+ dogs can return daily for nutritious meals, clean water, and eventually, basic medical care.

The station will provide:

  • Two scheduled feeding times daily
  • Protected shelter from Bali's intense heat and monsoon rains
  • A safe gathering space away from busy roads
  • A foundation for future spay/neuter programs

This isn't just about food. It's about dignity. It's about giving these animals a place where they're welcomed instead of chased away.

Why Bali Needs This

Indonesia has one of the highest stray dog populations in Southeast Asia. In Bali alone, an estimated 500,000+ dogs roam the streets. Tourist areas push them out. Residents can't afford to help. And every day, puppies are born into the same cycle.

Our feeding station model works because it's sustainable. Once established, local volunteers can maintain operations with consistent supply deliveries funded by bracelet purchases from supporters like you. One station can serve 100-200 dogs indefinitely.

You're Part of This

Every bracelet sold through Saving The Paws feeds 22 dogs. The Winter Survival Bundle feeds 66. When you purchased yours, some of those meals went straight to Bali.

And now, those purchases are building something permanent.

We'll be sharing construction updates, photos of the completed station, and stories of the dogs whose lives change because of it. This feeding station is being built by people who've never set foot in Bali—built by compassion that crosses oceans.

What Happens Next

The Bali feeding station will be operational by early 2026. We're working with local rescue partners who know these dogs by sight, who've watched them struggle through years of neglect. Together, we're creating something that outlasts any single donation—a legacy of care that feeds dogs for years to come.

If you're already part of our movement, thank you. Your bracelet isn't just jewelry—it's infrastructure. It's meals. It's hope.

If you're reading this and want to help, visit our shop. Choose the bundle that speaks to you. And know that somewhere in Bali, a dog you'll never meet will eat today because you cared.

One bracelet. 22 meals. 100 dogs fed. One permanent feeding station.

That's the power of this movement.
